Research On Urban Street Space Renewal Design From The Perspective Of Resilience Theor

In recent years,cities have been constantly attacked by various uncertain shocks,which caused great damage to social economy and culture,and people's lives and properties as well.As an important space for evacuation and daily activities,the ability to respond to disasters of street space has a huge impact on economy and culture and later recovery.However,traditional urban street design copes with shocks in a passive way,ignoring the dynamics of street space as a complex system and the initiative of multiple subjects,resulting in more deficiencies in urban space during disasters.Urban resilience is a theory based on systems theory and aimed at adapting to shocks in an active way,its application to urban streets is of great significance to city's sustainable development.Therefore,urban resilience is combined with street to propose a street space resilience framework and renewal requirements,then design strategies and methods are discussed from time and space dimensions.Finally,the streets in Jinan Commercial Port District are taken as a design object to provide references to domestic resilience related research and street space renewal design in the future.The content is divided into four parts as follows:The first part includes theoretical research and problems proposing.The research related to urban resilience and street space resilience are put forward and the concepts and features of uncertain disturbances,resilience theory,and street space are clarified.The second part analyzes the problem.The relevance of resilience theory and street space is discussed,then street space resilience framework is constructed from three aspects:resilience dimensions,characteristics and influencing factors.According to the research on the process street space adapts to shocks,people's needs and behaviors,and spatial function transformation,the renewal requirements of street space are proposed.The third part solves the problem.The renewal goals,design principles,methodologies and design framework are put forward.Then the design strategies are discussed from dimensions of long-term,medium-term and short-term.In the end,the design methods are proposed from dimensions of city,space and facilities,meanwhile,the guarantee of strategies' implementation and renewal paths are proposed.The fourth part is practical application.The streets of Jinan Commercial Port Area are selected as a research object,through field research and questionnaire,as well as Baidu map,big data analysis,spatial syntax and other tools,the current problems of street space resilience are summarized.Ultimately,strategies and methods above are used to design the street space.
