Effects Of Glucose Oxidase And Lactic Acid Bacteria Preparations On Performance, Immune Function And Cecal Flora Structure In Broilers

Abstract/Summary:
The purpose of this experiment was to study the effects of glucose oxidase and lactobacillus preparation in drinking water on growth performance,immunity and cecal micro flora structure of broilers,and provide reference for reducing or replacing the use of antibiotics in production.A total of240 one-day-old Arbor Acres broilers were randomly divided into 4 groups,each group with 6 replicates and 10 broilers in each replicate.Control group was fed with normal drinking water;In the glucose oxidase group,0.1%glucose oxidase was added in drinking water.In the lactobacillus preparation group,0.1mg/per/day lactobacillus preparation(1.5×10~5cfu/g)was added to drinking water.In the combined group,0.1%glucose oxidase+0.1mg/per/day lactobacillus preparation(1.5×10~5cfu/g)were added to drinking water.The whole experiment last for 42 days.The results showed that:(1)The production performance:Compared with the control group,there was no significant difference in the average daily feed intake of glucose oxidase group,Lactobacillus preparation group and combined group(P>0.05).The average daily gain of broilers in the combined group was significantly increased for 1~21 days,22~42 days and 1~42 days(P<0.05),and the feed to weight ratio was significantly reduced for 1~21 days(P<0.05).The average daily gain of glucose oxidase group was significantly increased for 22~42 days(P<0.05).There was no significant effect on the production performance of broilers in the lactobacillus preparation group(P>0.05).(2)The immune organ index:Compared with the control group,the bursa index of glucose oxidase group was significantly increased for 42 days(P<0.05).The thymus index was significantly increased in lactobacillus preparation and the combined group for 21 days(P<0.05).There was no significant effect on spleen index in each group(P>0.05).(3)The serum type-specific antibody:Compared with the control group,serum antibody titer of Newcastle disease was significantly increased in the lactobacillus preparation group for 21 days and 28days(P<0.05),and significantly increased in the combined group for 21 days(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the serum antibody titer of avian influenza H9 in the lactobacillus preparation group and the combined group was significantly increased for 28 days,35 days and 42 days(P<0.05).There was no significant effect of glucose oxidase group on the serum antibody titer of Newcastle disease and avian influenza H9(P>0.05).(4)The serum levels of immune globulin:Compared with the control group,the contents of serum immune globulin Ig G in broilers in the glucose oxidase group,the lactobacillus preparation group and the combined group were significantly increased of 21 days and 42 days broilers(P<0.05),and the contents of serum immune globulin Ig A in the glucose oxidase group and the combined group were significantly increased of 21 days broilers.(5)The intestinal morphology and structure:Compared with the control group,the height of villi and V/C in the duodenum of broilers were significantly increased in the glucose oxidase group for 21days and 42 days(P<0.05),and the height of villi in jejunum and ileum were significantly increased for 21 days(P<0.05).The height of villi in duodenum,jejunum and ileum of 21 days broilers were significantly increased in Lactobacillus group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the height of villi and V/C in the duodenum of broilers were significantly increased in the combination group for21 days and 42 days(P<0.05),and the height of villi in jejunum and ileum were significantly increased for 21 days(P<0.05).(6)The structure of cecum flora:a)Alpha diversity analysis showed that,compared with the control group,the fecal microbial abundance and diversity of broiler chickens in each experimental group increased,but the difference was not significant(P>0.05).b)Structure analysis of cecum microbial community:At 42 days,the cecum microbes in each group were dominated by Firmicutes,Bacteroidetes,and Proteobacteria.Compared with the control group,the content of Bacteroidetes significantly increased in glucose oxidase group(P<0.01)and the content of Bacteroidetes significantly increased in the combined group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the contents of Proteobacteria in each experimental group were significantly reduced(P<0.01).At the genus level,Lactobacillus,Clostridium Xl Va,Alistipes and Blautia were the main species in each group.Compared with the control group,the content of Escherichia Escherichia/Shigella was significantly decreased in each experimental group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group and the lactobacillus preparation group,the content of Alistipes in the glucose oxidase group was significantly increased(P<0.01).Compared with the control group,the content of Alistipes was significantly increased in the combined group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the content of Vampirovibrio was significantly reduced in each experimental group(P<0.01).Compared with the control group,the lactobacillus group and the lactobacillus group,the Parabacteroides and Faecalibacterium were significantly improved in the glucose oxidase group(P<0.05).In summary,the addition of glucose oxidase and lactobacillus preparation in drinking water can improve the production performance and immune function of broilers,improve the intestinal morphological structure and the structure of intestinal flora.The combined use of the two is more effective.
