Geographical Distribution Pattern And Ornamental Value Evaluation Of Wild Impatiens Plants In Guizhou Province

Impatiens is a high-quality wild germplasm resource with a wide variety of characteristics,such as peculiar flower shape,rich flower color,long flowering period and strong adaptability.China is one of the central regions for the distribution of Impatiens,which is rich in wild Impatiens resources.Guizhou is one of the main areas for the distribution of Impatiens in China.However,there is no comprehensive information on Impatiens,and its ornamental value has not been systematically studied and developed for a long time.In view of this situation,this study investigated the wild Impatiens resources and geographical distribution pattern in Guizhou Province.In order to avoid blind development,the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)was used on the basis of field investigation to evaluate the ornamental value of the resources qualitatively and quantitatively,and select high-quality germplasm resources.The main contents are as follows:(1)Based on the field investigation and literature,60 species(including subspecies)of Impatiens in Guizhou were obtained,including 9 species of Impatiens subgenus,51 species(including subspecies)of 6 groups of Impatiens subgenus,55 species endemic to China and 10 species endemic to Guizhou.The 60 species of Impatiens in Guizhou were classified according to the latest classification system,and a key was made on this basis.(2)The distribution of wild Impatiens in Guizhou is relatively uniform,and most of the areas with high endemic rate are concentrated in the central and western parts of Guizhou.There are abundant resources of Impatiens in Jiangkou,Suiyang and Anlong counties.The vertical distribution is mainly concentrated in the altitude range of 1000-1500 m.By calculating the similarity coefficient,it was found that Guizhou and Hunan had the highest degree of similarity.Nine hot counties were selected,representing 86.67% of Impatiens.(3)The first mock exam of 22 species of 4 immigrant species was established.22 evaluation indexes were established,and a comprehensive evaluation model of ornamental value of wild Impatiens was established.The model was applied to evaluate and screen 60 Impatiens from Guizhou.The screening results showed that the ornamental and development value of eight kinds of Impatiens,such as I.guizhouensis,I.apalophylla and I.siculifer,were high,and the screening results were basically consistent with the reality.
