Financial Analysis Of Muyuan Foods Co., Ltd. Based On The Harvard Framework

Since the reform and opening up,China's economy has experienced rapid development,and people's living standards have undergone earth shaking changes.The people's demand for a better life also puts forward new requirements for the quality of agricultural production.After the 13 th five year plan,industrial transformation and green development have become the theme of pig industry.Affected by the African swine fever and COVID-19,the price of pork has been ups and downs.The current situation and development of pig raising enterprises has also become a hot topic.This paper takes Muyuan Food Co.,Ltd.(stock code 002741.SZ),the leading enterprise in pig breeding industry,as the research object,analyzes its financial situation,and provides reference for the development of enterprises and industry.The traditional financial statement analysis method based on single financial index can not meet the analysis requirements of enterprises in complex environment.This paper chooses Harvard framework analysis method,which is oriented by strategic analysis,accounting analysis,financial analysis and prospect analysis,to analyze the financial statements of enterprises,comprehensively understand the financial situation of enterprises,find out the possible problems and put forward suggestions for improvement.As the starting point of Harvard analysis framework,strategic analysis includes PEST analysis and Research on the external environment of enterprise development and industry competition,sorting out its external environment;SWOT analysis is used to sort out the advantages and disadvantages of the enterprise and the opportunities and challenges of the external environment,so as to find out the suitable development strategy;research on the strategy selected by the enterprise,and analyze its implementation effect to put forward problems.Evaluate the important accounting policies and accounting estimates of enterprises,and analyze the reliability of report information.From the operating capacity,profitability,solvency,growth capacity and cash flow analysis of the financial situation of enterprises,and compared with other enterprises in the same industry,to find out the possible problems.In the perspective,through the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the future development trend,the future strategic trend and financial situation of the enterprise are predicted.It is of great significance to evaluate the financial indicators and integrate the non-financial information to find out the advantages and disadvantages of the enterprise.
