Due to the fragmentary cultivated land and poor land resource endowment,the utilization rate of large-scale agricultural machinery is relatively low in Guizhou and other hilly areas,especially the use of small-scale agricultural machinery.In rural cooperatives and large farmers,there are cases of employing agricultural machinery operators or carrying agricultural machinery by agricultural machinery operators.The accurate measurement of agricultural machinery operation area is an important research topic to achieve precision agriculture,and it is also the guarantee to realize non dispute cross region operation.The traditional measurement equipment of working area is mostly developed based on GPS and other navigation systems,which is suitable for large-scale plots in plain areas.For small plots widely existing in Guizhou,the measurement error is large.The purpose of this paper is to get the change of engine load during the operation of rotary cultivator by multisensor,and judge whether to carry out heavy ploughing and the value of heavy ploughing area.A small agricultural machinery area measurement system based on multi-sensor is developed with STM32 series processor as the core processor.The paper studies from the following aspects.(1)First,the power consumption of rotary tillage was analyzed.The theoretical calculation results show that the output power value of the selected rotary tiller engine is obtained.Through the simulation of the edem discrete element simulation platform,it is found that the power consumption of rotary tillage is different under different compactness,and the output power of the engine of the rotary tillage operation of the tight soil model is calculated.The power consumption of rotary tillage is different under different compactness,and the difference between the average power consumption of rotary tillage of tight soil and loose soil is greater than 0.1kw.(2)Secondly,the output power of the engine is analyzed.Using Lab VIEW and NI data acquisition card,dynamic torque sensor,fuel consumption meter,thermometer to build the hardware and software system of engine parameter acquisition.Using origin to process the data,we can get the best parameters of the engine and the best speed range of the engine when it meets the power requirements of rotary tillage operation.The relationship between engine output power,engine output speed and fuel consumption is fitted out.(3)Third,system design.This paper designs the function of small agricultural machinery area measuring instrument,expounds the measuring principle,and proposes to use the working area instead of the traveling distance to calculate the cumulative error correction parameters.The hardware design of the system,such as the design of step-down circuit,sensor circuit and human interaction circuit.(4)Last,through the design of the test scheme,such as the acquisition of cumulative error correction parameters,the acquisition of the model of the width and power value of the heavy ploughing,the systematic design of the field test scheme is carried out.Whether the designed system is suitable for the small plots with different areas and shapes is obtained through the rotary ploughing operation.Whether the accuracy of the system is qualified is obtained through the analysis and comparison with the measurement results of the Mu meter.
