In order to explore the effects of different light environment and population size on the population structure of Sebastes schlegeli, this paper studies the swimming speed, nearest neighbor distance, speed synchronization and arrangement polarity of Sebastes schlegeli under various conditions by adjusting three different light intensities, five different light color conditions and three different population sizes, and measures the critical swimming speed and explosive swimming speed of Sebastes schlegeli,The group structure in various environments is discussed in detail. The results show that:(1)The minimum critical swimming speed of Sebastes schlegeli with a body length of10.42±0.38cm is 38.82cm/s,the maximum is 49.69cm/s,the minimum relative critical speed is 3.87bl/s,and the maximum is 4.60bl/s.A linear regression equation is made according to the body length and critical speed:y=6.544x-25.758,(R~2=0.6465).The maximum swimming distance of Sebastes schlegeli can be estimated as 5963m through the critical swimming speed; The maximum value of explosive swimming speed is 7.33cm/s,the minimum value is 114.78cm/s,and the minimum value of relative explosive swimming speed is 7.26bl/s,and the maximum value is 10.63bl/s.According to the body length and explosive swimming speed,a linear regression equation is made:y=31.802x-236.64,(R~2=0.8066).From the explosive swimming speed, the optimal escape distance of Sebastes schlegeli is estimated to be 22.96m.(2)The changes of spontaneous swimming behavior and population structure were observed under different light conditions. The results showed that the average speed of Sebastes schlegeli was 4.4cm/s under 0lx intensity,4.9cm/s under 105lx intensity and6.7cm/s under 620lx intensity. The average speed of 620lx group was significantly higher than that of the other two groups(P<0.05).The nearest distance of Sebastes schlegeli was mainly distributed at 0?5cm under 0lx intensity, while the nearest distance of Sebastes schlegeli was mainly distributed at 10?15cm under 620lx intensity.Under the X-ray intensity of 0lx and 105lx,the nearest distance of Sebastes schlegeli individuals is mainly distributed in the range of 0?10 cm.The experimental results showed that under the condition of 0lx,the cohesion of the group was the highest, which was significantly higher than that of the other two groups(P<0.05).By analyzing the polarity of the group,it was found that the polarity of 0lx group was significantly higher than that of the other two groups(P<0.05).(3)Five light colors[red(wavelength 625?640nm),yellow(wavelength 585?594nm),green(wavelength 512?569nm),blue(wavelength 442?473nm),white(wavelength440?637nm)]were set in the experiment to observe the changes of spontaneous swimming behavior and population structure under different light colors. The results showed that under the condition of red light, the average nearest distance was the largest, which was 12.3cm,which was significantly greater than that of the other four groups(P<0.05).The distribution of polarity in blue was the highest(89.3%),which was significantly higher than that in the other four groups(P<0.05).The average speed under red light is the largest, which is 8.2cm/s,which is significantly higher than the other four groups(P<0.05).There is a significant difference in speed synchronization, and the speed synchronization under red light is significantly lower than the other four groups(P<0.05).(4)The results showed that the average speed of 4 individual groups was 5.9 cm/s,which was significantly different from 8 individual groups and 12 individual groups(P<0.05).There was significant difference in speed synchronization between 4 individual groups and 8 and 12 individual groups(P<0.05).The average nearest neighbor distance of 4individual groups was 7.2 cm,which was significantly different from that of 8 and 12individual groups(P<0.05).The arrangement polarity of 4 individual groups was significantly different from that of 8 and 12 individual groups(P<0.05).
