Objective:The aim is to screen out a better and more effective method for the treatment of acute herpes zoster by comparing the clinical efficacy of two different methods of warming needle moxibustion at Jiaji points and electroacupuncture at Jiaji points in the treatment of acute herpes zoster. Methods: 72 patients with acute herpes zoster were divided into two groups by using a random number table method:warm acupuncture group and electroacupuncture group, each group had 36 cases. The two groups were treated with basic therapy(local Ashi point periacupuncture + oral famciclovir dispersible tablets and mecobalamin capsules); The warm acupuncture group was treated with warming needle moxibustion at Jiaji points, and the electroacupuncture group was treated with electroacupuncture at Jiaji points. Both groups were treated once a day,10 times a course,a total of 1 course. The patients were followed up on the 30 th day after treatment to find out whether there was post herpeticneuralgia.Record and analyze the curative effect of each index(pain evaluation index, herpes evaluation index, postherpetic neuralgia index, total scores of clinical symptoms)before and after treatment of the two groups, and make statistical analysis of the relevant data to make clinical curative effect evaluation.Results:1.Comparison of curative effect of pain evaluation index:the VAS score was significantly reduced in both groups after treatment(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in VAS score, pain relief time and pain duration between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).2.Comparison of curative effect of herpes evaluation index: the curative effect of blister stopping time, scab forming time and scab removing time in the warm acupuncture group was significantly better than that in the electroacupuncture group(P<0.01).3.Comparison of curative effect of post herpeticneuralgia index: the incidence of post herpeticneuralgia in the warm acupuncture group was lower than that in the electroacupuncture group(P<0.05).4.Comparison of curative effect of total clinical syndrome scores: the total scores of clinical symptoms of the two groups were significantly reduced after treatment(P<0.01).After treatment, there was no significant difference in the efficacy of the total clinical syndrome scores between the two groups(P>0.05).5.Comparison of clinical efficacy: there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The clinical curative effect of warming needle moxibustion at Jiaji points and electroacupuncture at Jiaji points in the treatment of acute herpes zoster is equivalent, and both can effectively relieve the patients ’pain and clinical symptoms. However, the warming needle moxibustion at Jiaji points is better than that of electroacupuncture at Jiaji points in promoting the healing of skin damage, and the incidence of post herpeticneuralgia is lower than that of electroacupuncture at Jiaji points. Therefore, warming needle moxibustion at Jiaji points is a better treatment method for acute herpes zoster, and it is worthy of clinical application.
