A Retrospective Study On The Efficacy Of Western Medicine Combined With Xingnaojing In Acute Basal Ganglia Hemorrhage

Objective:The basal ganglia area is one of the most common sites of cerebral hemorrhage,often leaving severe neurological deficit symptoms.Progressive cerebral hemorrhage,uncontrollable fever and coma are factors that lead to poor prognosis of patients with cerebral hemorrhage.Promoting hematoma absorption and improving the improvement rate of neurological deficits are potential therapeutic targets for cerebral hemorrhage.Xingnaojing injection has the power of clearing away heat,detoxifying,and resuscitating the mind.Xingnaojing injection has a certain effect on cerebral hemorrhage patients with fever and coma,and is often used to treat cerebral hemorrhage.This project aims to objectively evaluate the curative effect of Western medicine combined with Xingnaojing in the acute phase of basal ganglia hemorrhage through retrospective research.Methods: Collect the case data of patients with acute basal ganglia hemorrhage in the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Hunan Brain Hospital,and compare the curative effect of Western medicine(control group)and Western medicine combined with Xingnaojing(observation group)in NIHSS score,ADL score,hematoma volume,neurological deficit score improvement rate before and after treatment,to evaluate the curative effect of Western medicine treatment combined with Xingnaojing.Results: In the control group,there were 63 cases,the NIHSS score after treatment was 5.70±3.71,the ADL score was66.51±16.55,the hematoma volume was 7.73±6.65,and the total effective rate of neurological deficit improvement was 73.0%;54cases in the observation group,the NIHSS score after treatment was 4.50 ±2.96,the ADL score was 77.50±14.82,the hematoma volume was 9.44±6.64,and the total effective rate of neurological deficit improvement was 92.6%.Conclusion:Western medicine and Western medicine combined with Xingnaojing can effectively improve the symptoms of neurological deficits in patients with acute basal ganglia hemorrhage and improve the ability of daily living;the observation group is significantly better than the control group in improving neurological deficits and improving the ability of daily living,But there is no significant difference between the two in promoting the absorption of hematoma.
