With the development of the Internet and other new media,language expression forms and communication methods emerge in an endless stream.The content of media reports is constructed by language selection.Language is inevitably related to its users and their thoughts,concepts and value orientations.The generation and dissemination of discourse are accompanied by unequal relations,power struggles and ideological differences.In this context,this paper focuses on the marking in NHK broadcast in 2019 documentary " U.S VS China's future strife beginning " as the research object,and studies the vocabulary and discourse expressions in the documentary from the perspective of discourse.Based on discourse analysis,Fairclough's three-dimensional analysis framework is used as an analysis method to analyze China-related documentary from textual level,discourse practice level and social practice level.This paper attempts to present the attitude and propaganda strategy of the Japanese mainstream media towards the image of China,and further excavate the value orientation of the Japanese mainstream media,the construction of the national image of China and the ideology behind the discourse.
