An Analysis Of Wittgenstein's Philosophy

From the perspective of philosophy of language,this paper tries to analyze,explore and sort out the reasons for the formation of Wittgenstein's philosophy a nd the basic contents of Wittgenstein's philosophy.Further research on its influen ce,significance and limitation.This paper holds that Wittgenstein's philosophical v iew surpasses the ancient ontological and modern epistemological philosophical vi ew,and is an important representative of the modern linguistic philosophical vie w,especially the Anglo-American linguistic philosophical view.Wittgenstein's phil osophical view not only contains the basic positioning of philosophy itself,but a lso includes the basic understanding of the boundary between philosophy and sci ence,religion and aesthetics.More importantly,he understands and constructs phi losophy in the unity of theory and practice.Wittgenstein believed that philosophy is linguistic analysis,including not only logical linguistic analysis,but also dail y linguistic analysis.The boundary between philosophy and science lies in the fa ct that philosophy is not science and the research of philosophy cannot use scien tific methods.The boundary between Wittgenstein's philosophy and religion lies i n that religion is ineffable and religion is the field that philosophy cannot expres s.Later Wittgenstein returned religion to practice to understand.The boundary be tween Wittgenstein's philosophy and aesthetics lies in that aesthetics is unspeakab le,and aesthetics is the field that philosophy cannot express.Later Wittgenstein i ntegrated aesthetics into the understanding.At the same time,philosophy is philo sophical practice,which is not only limited to linguistic analysis practice,but als o a kind of extensive life practice.Philosophical practice provides a solution to t he problems caused by traditional metaphysics.Philosophy manifests itself in pra ctice and clears up the problem of philosophical misunderstanding in traditional metaphysics.Wittgenstein's philosophy has an important influence on the philosop hy of linguistic analysis and pragmatism.Its significance lies in that it not only emphasizes the significance of logic to philosophy,but also promotes the return of philosophy to practice.The limitation of Wittgenstein's philosophy lies in thathe pays too much attention to logical analysis and linguistic description,which dispels the critical nature and ultimate concern of philosophy.
