"Dragon" is a product of Chinese culture.As early as in the primitive society,it already had the image of "dragon".After the gradual development,it became more unique.It became a symbol of power and a symbol of prosperity.The "dragon" in the concept of identity is in China.Because the "dragon" belongs to water,after the introduction of Buddhist culture,the "dragon" has been given a new image,has a more certain function,and is subject to the ruler's Vigorously preach and seal the "king".Water and land paintings contain a very rich cultural connotation,and are involved in many fields such as religion,history,art,etc.In our country,they are also very important visual cultural heritage.The "Dragon King" is an indispensable water shrine in water and land dojo paintings.The "Dragon King" in different regions has similarities and characteristics.The "Dragon King" belief emerged with the emergence of the"Dragon King".It extended from the beginning of the Four Sea Dragon Kings and Wufang Dragon Kings to various lakes,and in the ponds,there were "Dragon Kings"guarding almost where there was water.The special natural geographical conditions in northern Shaanxi caused frequent droughts and floods.Therefore,the belief in the"Dragon King" was more extensive in northern Shaanxi.The first part of this article begins with a discussion of the origin of the "dragon"image,and summarizes the evolution of the "dragon king" image from "dragon" to"dragon king" and the connotations given by people.The second part analyzes the geographical and climatic conditions in northern Shaanxi,and discusses many aspects of the widespread belief of the "Dragon King" in northern Shaanxi.The third part of the main body of the article focuses on the analysis of several groups of "Dragon Kings" in the water and land paintings in Yulin area of northern Shaanxi.It carefully discusses the artistic characteristics of the "Dragon King" images in the water and land paintings in northern Shaanxi area,and explores its special points.Contrast the related images,and look for the similarities and differences between the three places' water and land paintings.Finally,I focus on exploring the social functions of the "Dragon King"belief in northern Shaanxi,and the internal connection between the "Dragon King"belief and water and land painting.
