With an upright attitude of "opening his eyes to view the world",Jia Zhangke faced reality with a stern attitude,not falsely.Taking the restoration of real life as the starting point,humanistic care for the underlying mass as the foothold,he demonstrated the width of the current era and the thickness of life step by step following the times.His film works allowed the audience to see the real real life now,forming a non-reproducible summary and reflection on the past era.The author discussed the rich connotation of Jia Zhangke's film authenticity on the perspective of film authenticity,based on Jia Zhangke's feature film creation.As a conscientious filmmaker of the era,he held literature record of times as his own responsibility,with humanistic care for marginal characters as the core,which not only reflected Jia's film conscience,but also showed his exact passion for the film authenticity.Regarded as Chinese spokesperson of Bazin 's documentary aesthetics,Jia was always obsessed with the pursuit of film authenticity and the search for film authenticity was his constant film motif,so that under his lens,a different portrayal of Chinese realism was truly recorded.In this way,Jia wrote his footnotes about film authenticity in the history of film all over the world,with his brushstrokes full of oriental philosophy.This article proceeded the discussion of Jia ' s film authenticity within nine chapters.The first chapter was an overview of film authenticity.In the chapter,the author firstly gave us a brief review of the film authenticity developing history,then defined the concept of four dimensions and three transcendences and showed his understanding and explanation to the unique film authenticity in Jia's works.In the second chapter,the author provided the comprehensive interpretation of Jia's life appearance through four aspects from space to time,visual to aural.In the third chapter,the author described the first transcendence,through the precise interception of life appearance to deepen into the texture,which lived up to life reality dimension.In the fourth chapter,the author analyzed Jia's life reality dimension according to its origin,reflection,respect and essence.In the fifth chapter,it showed Jia's artistic remodeling of life appearance and life reality,which kept far away from the category of life,instead,his works were more likely to reach the art palace.That could be deemed as the second transcendence.In the sixth chapter,the author conducted a full-scale elucidation of Jia's art authenticity dimension by dynamic model.In theseventh chapter,the author showed the third transcendence on the purpose of achieving art clarification and catching up art essence,acted by Jia in his films through removing the shadows of reality.In the eighth chapter,the author made the analysis of Jia's art essence to illustrate his film's realistic meaning from four aspects,market,art,country and nation.In the ninth chapter,the author demonstrated the real connotation from the perspective of digital media.Through the above nine chapters,the author carried out a hierarchical discussion on Jia's film authenticity,focusing on the film authenticity and analyzed its expression on life appearance,life reality,art authenticity and art essence.Besides,the author also paid attention to four dimensions and three transcendence,to explore how those four factors mentioned above can be improved and sublimated based on them,which could help to give a comprehensive illustration of Jia's film authenticity.Moreover,taking Jia's works as example,the author made his own comments on the different aspects and rich connotation concerning about film authenticity which was regarded as a root system,and hoped that the thesis could provide the scholars with some referential value and significance.
