Jia Zhangke Film Documentary Aesthetic Characteristics

This thesis focus on the realistic aesthetic characters of the films directed by Jia zhangke.It also discuss the innovation and the development about the realistic aesthetics.At the same time,this paper also give a comprehensive discussion about the cause of realistic aesthetics style in Jia Zhangke's films.At the last this thesis discuss the enlightenment and meaning of Jia Zhangke's films to the Chinese movie.It mainly consists of five chapters.The first chapter of this thesis focus on the realistic aesthetics characters of movie.It summarizes the main characters of realistic aesthetics from the beginning to the maturity combining the correlation theory about realistic aesthetics.It mainly discusses the sourses and the skeletons of the realistic aesthetics focusing on the world realistic aesthetics.At the ending it summarizes the main conception and characters of the realistic aesthetics.The second chapter of this thesis mainly discusses the background and the realistic aesthetics characters of Jia Zhangke's films.It mainly focuses on the history and circumstances of Chinese film works to analyzes the background of Jia Zhangke's films.The most important parts of this chapter is to discuss the realistic aesthetics characters of Jia Zhangke's films.It mainly discusses from two aspects.One is from the contents of Jia Zhangke's films including the realistic society and the realistic feeling of the people in the movies.Another is from the film language and the techniques of expression in the movies.Jia Zhangke shows his attitude about the society by displaying objectively the people's survival condition and the social conditions.It also conveys the real feeling about the society and life.The third chapter of this thesis mainly discusses the innovation and the development about the realistic aesthetics of Jia Zhangke's films.It discusses mainly from three aspects including the prose style and the poetic expression,the nationality character and the post-modernism character.This part is the main innovation of this paper especially the discussion of the post-modernism style in Jia Zhangke's films .There were many papers which discussed the realistic aesthetics characters of Jia Zhangke's films.But there were little papers to discuss the innovation of Jia Zhangke's films. The fourth chapter mainly discuss the causes of the realistic aesthetics style in Jia Zhangke's films. It discusses mainly from two aspects.One talks about external causes of the realistic aesthetics style in Jia Zhangke's films.The realistic aesthetics style in Jia Zhangke's films is mainly influenced by Italian New-realism and French New Wave in the world and is mainly influenced by traditional realism in China.Another talks about the internal causes of the realistic aesthetics style inJ ia Zhangke's films from Jia Zhangke's cultural background and his life experience.Most of the materials in Jia Zhangke's films comes from his the real life and the real feeling.His development history and his lifetimes have an affect on his movie work.The academic education in Beijing Film Academy and the benefits of arts also have a profound influence on his movie work.The fifth chapter discusses the meaning of Jia Zhangke's films including the social enlightening meaning and the contribution to the creative work of Chinese films.His films can put forward some consideration about our society because his films reflect objectively the problems existing in actual society.At the same time, Jia Zhangke's films also bring a profound influence to Chinese movie works including the art innovation and the ability to keep the good balance between art and commerce.The last chapter tables some proposals to the development of his movie basing on the summary of his prevenient movie works.
