A Study Of Family Culture In Hexi Region During Wei And Jin Dynasties

This paper takes "Family Culture in Hexi Area during Wei and Jin Dynasties" as the research object,and through combining historical materials,archaeological unearthed documents and related research results,makes a holistic study on the historical background,formation process,connotation,characteristics and historical significance of family culture in Hexi area during Wei and Jin Dynasties.The article is mainly divided into the following five parts:In the first part,I introduce the reasons for the selected topic,define the key concepts such as "Hexi","Family culture","Wei and Jin",and analyze the research status at home and abroad from four aspects:Hexi Regional Research,Hexi Culture Research,Hexi Family study and Research about Family Culture in Wei and Jin dynasties.It is concluded that the family culture in the Wei and Jin Dynasties has an important historical position,and the Hexi region is an important area in the development of family culture,and has achieved significant development in Wei and Jin Dynasties.The academic circle still lacks systematic research on this topic,so carry out this study has important academic value and significance.In the second part,I combined with the natural and human environment in Hexi region,the development strategy of Hexi in past Dynasties and the internal and external situation of Hexi region in Wei and Jin Dynasties,to discuss about the background of Hexi family culture-in-Wei and Jin Dynasties.The superior-natural conditions in the Hexi region have made it a place of survival,migration and competition for many ethnic groups in history.Since the Han Dynasty,Hexi became a part of the Central Plains territory,and under the attention,development and management of successive rulers,Hexi has maintained a relatively stable situation,and it provided fertile ground for the growth of family culture;when the social unrest in the Central Plains of Wei and Jin Dynasties,the internal and external situation in the Hexi region directly contributed to the generation of family culture in Hexi.The third part mainly discuss about the formation process of family culture in Wei and Jin Dynasties.First of all,according to the historical development,I divide the sources of Hexi family culture into three parts:Hexi family culture which developed from Han Dynasty,family culture of Central Plains area which came along with the families escaped from the Chaos of Yongjia late in Jin dynasty,and other sources.Then,combined with the development of family members and Hexi culture and education in Cao Wei,Western Jin Dynasty and Wuliang period,this paper analyzes the development and formation process of Hexi family culture in Wei and Jin Dynasties.In the fourth part,a comprehensive study and analysis of Hexi Family Culture in Wei and Jin Dynasties were carried out.First of all,I used the relevant historical materials and classics to summarize the main families and their academic and cultural experience of Hexi families in Wei and Jin Dynasties,through this we can see the general situation of Hexi family culture during this period.Secondly,some case studies of typical families and their family culture was carried out.Through discuss about the development of family lineage,family member activity experiences and the academic performances of ZhangGui,LiHao,SuoJing,GuoHe,LiuBing,SongYao,JiangQiong,ChengJun,to analyze their family culture in Confucianism,Classics,Metaphysics,Literature,Philology,Calligraphy Art,Historical Geography and Astronomical Calendar Geography etc.Then,on this basis,to analyze the development and characteristics of Hexi family culture in Wei and Jin Dynasties.Finally,through the analysis,it is concluded that:Hexi family culture in Wei and Jin Dynasties has the characteristics of cultivating ways and sources,inheriting various ways,rich and extensive content,however,on the whole maintained the main position of Confucianism.Most families think highly of their family culture,and also pay attention to social abilities.Finally,combined what have been discussed above,The relationship between Hexi and the west in politics and culture,and relationship between the Hexi Family and the Border Guard of the Western Regions were discussed.And also further discusses the historical significance of family culture in Hexi area during Wei and Jin Dynasties.
