A Study Of The Artistic Features And Performance Techniques Of The Erhu Tune "Song Of Chu"

Erhu song "ode to chu" is an erhu concerto 1i bochan composed for shuanghu qin and orchestra in 2014.Based on the historical story of farewell to my concubine,the song presents a fierce battle scene,recounts the tragic love between xiang yu,the king of chu,and yu ji,and praises the heroic and persistent national spirit of the Chinese nation and its unswerving love.This work is rooted in the tradition and integrated into the modern,using the performance skills of erhu and gaowu,which is huge in length,rich in content and difficult to play.In the five years since its creation,"ode to chu" has been widely praised by people both inside and outside the industry.At present,the research results of this work are limited.This paper analyzes this work from the aspects of artistic characteristics,musical characteristics and performance skills,and hopes to have a deeper understanding of this work by combining my own performance and experience.
