A Study Of The Image Of Economic Reformers In "Historical Records"

In the process of economic development,when production relations no longer adapt to the development of productivity,economic reform has become an inevitable choice for the development of the country and society.In the extensive history from Emperor Huang to Emperor Han Wu in the Historical Records,economic reformers have become an important promoter of economic development.Sima Qian uses high artistic methods to portray this type of figures vividly.Through the shaping of these images,not only reveals Sima Qian's economic reform ideas and historical viewpoints,but also shows the magnificent paintings of economic reform in various countries,and outline the trajectory of the development of the times.This article takes six economic reformers,Guan Zhong' Sunshu Ao,Li Kui,Wu Qi,Shang Yang,and Sang Hongyang who recorded in Sima Qian's the Historical Records,as research objects.Through text reading,comprehensive comparative analysis and other methods,mainly in literary studies,meanwhile try to do some interdisciplinary research in history and economics.Their reforms have had a profound impact in their respective countries.Sima Qian recorded it objectively in the Historical Records,and also shaped six economic reformers in different artistic ways,showed us different image characteristics,and evaluated their reforms in different ways.The basic content of this article is as follows.The introduction part,mainly defines the related concepts involved in this article,analyzes the research status of this topic,and explains the research purpose,significance and methods of this article.The first chapter is to sort out the economic reforms in the mid-Western Han Dynasty and before.Based on the years recorded in the Historical Records,on the one hand,it summarizes the history of economic reform from Yellow Emperor to the Western Han Dynasty.On the other hand,it analyzes the emerging economic reformers,focus on the factors of change in the process of economic development,and have linked the records of economic change activities in the Historical Records,The second chapter is a general study of the image of the economic reformer depicted in the Historical Records.The six economic reformers in Sima Qian's writing are analyzed from the aspects of including in biography,historical data selection,the commonality and individuality of the six economic reformers,and the evaluation art of Sima Qian's figures.The third chapter is the analysis of Sima Qian's character art.Sima Qian showed the fierceness of economic reform in contradictions and conflicts,and rendered the difficulties of economic reform in a strong tragedy atmosphere.Through superb language art,he showed the characters' thoughts and characters.The use of contrasting and settling techniques makes the characters fuller.The use of so many artistic techniques makes the character's image more three-dimensional,reflecting Sima Qian's superb literary and artistic level.Sima Qian put six economic reformers into the background of the times,closely connecting individuals with their homeland,society,and times.The characters are at the forefront of the times.The individuals shoulder the requirements of the times,but they are limited by the times.The character image created is more in-depth.The fourth chapter is based on the analysis of the image of Sima Qian's economic reformer,and analyzes Sima Qian's concept of economic reform.Regarding the positive role played by economic reform for social development,Sima Qian held a positive attitude and showed a historical view of advocating change.In terms of the way to transform the economy,Sima Qian was dissatisfied with the change of the style of Legalism,but intended to use activity in repose of Huang-Lao,hoped to achieve the social ideal of Confucianism in a moderate way.In the concluding part,a brief summary of the opinions obtained in this article is given.Sima Qian shaped the image of six economic reformers with superb literary and artistic methods.In these images,Sima Qian's own concepts of economic reform and historiography are contained.
