An Empirical Study On The Impact Of Cultural Industries On The Economic Growth Of Cities In The Yangtze River Delta

This article takes 26 cities in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration as the research object.From the perspective of the output scale and input scale of the cultural industry,it attempts to use the data of urban economic growth and the input and output scale of the cultural industry from 2010 to 2017 to apply fixed Effect model to study the impact of cultural industry development on urban economic growth in the Yangtze River Delta region.On this basis,K-means clustering was used to divide 26 cities in the Yangtze River Delta region into two categories with good development level and poor development level.Adding dummy variables of development level to the econometric model to study the difference between the effects of cultural industry development on economic growth in cities with different development levels.Through empirical research,this paper finds that the development of urban cultural industry in the Yangtze River Delta region plays a role in promoting the growth of the urban economy.At the same time,this paper finds that the level of regional industrialization will have a negative impact on the economic growth of cities in the Yangtze River Delta region.The level of financial development has a significant positive effect on the economic growth of cities in the Yangtze River Delta,and the level of tertiary industry development also has a significant positive effect on the growth of urban GDP and per capita GDP,which shows that the improvement of urban financial service levels can Promoting economic growth,the development of the tertiary industry and the improvement of human capital level also have a promoting effect on the urban economy.After introducing dummy variables of development level into the econometric model and performing group regression,it is found that the investment scale of the cultural industry plays a role in promoting economic growth of the city at different levels of significance,but this role of promotion in cities with better development levels China will be bigger.According to the basic facts and empirical analysis results of urban cultural industry development and urban economic growth in the Yangtze River Delta region,from upgrading the scale of cultural industry development,accelerating the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure,enhancing the consumption level of cultural industry and improving the level of urban financial services Propose countermeasures in various aspects.The innovation of this article is that the previous research on the relationship between the Yangtze River Delta cultural industry and economic growth is mostly at the provincial and municipal level.This study of 26 cities in the Yangtze River Delta region extended the scope of the study and used the period from 2010 to2017.The newer data in the statistical yearbook track the economic growth of the Yangtze River Delta region.
