The Exploration And Application Of Nabi Painting Characteristics In Oil Painting Creation

Artists after the Renaissance have been pursuing the style of classicist painting,and rigorous composition,clear modeling and realistic colors have become the mainstream artistic characteristics of painting at that time.After a long development of painting,until entering the nineteenth century,a large number of artistic genres different from the previous traditional painting styles began to emerge in the European art scene,such as Impressionism,Fauvism,and Expressionism.It was in such a time when a hundred flowers bloomed and a hundred schools of thought were contending,an art society that appeared briefly and advocated breaking through the constraints of traditional Western painting,advocating freedom of painting,opposing dogmatism,and opposing mainstream painting schools at that time was born.These artists with the same painting style named it For the Nabi faction,from the name "Nabi" we can see that they hailed themselves as the "prophet" and "prophet" on the road of artistic development at that time.In Europe in the early nineteenth century,with the support of optical theory,the impressionist painting style became the mainstream style of art at that time.The Nabi faction,born at the same time,was not satisfied with the artistic style of the Impressionists who blindly pursued the fleeting colors,and was unwilling to follow the trend.The Nabis artists took a different approach.While pursuing the artistic propositions of the painter Gauguin,they also drew on the nourishment of Japanese Ukiyo-e.They tried to innovate on the basis of impressionist painting to make the painting more subjective and decorative..In the process of development,Nabi School has always strived to innovate and make bold breakthroughs.The artistic characteristics of flatness,decoration,and subjectivity of color in its paintings have influenced the painting styles of some later Western painting schools and Chinese painters.It has a certain degree of influence,which also explains the important reason why the Nabi faction has a place in the long history of Western art development.The main content of this article is to analyze the painting characteristics of Nabi School and the specific application of its painting characteristics in my oil painting creation.The article will be divided into four parts to elaborate.First of all,the first part explains the background,purpose and significance of the research,the status quo of the research and the research methods mainly used in this paper.Secondly,the second part combines impressionism and Japanese Ukiyo-e's role in the formation and development of Nabi school,and then analyzes the Nabi school's influence on Western art schools and Chinese oil painting after the 20 th century.Give an example.The third part is divided into two points: the first point analyzes and studies the composition of the Nabi school from three aspects of composition,color and modeling;the second point combines the paintings of several representative painters of the Nabi school.More in-depth research has been conducted on the style and artistic works to analyze the composition of the Nabi paintings.Finally,the fourth part sorts out the creative process,explains how the Nabi school's painting characteristics are used in the creative process,and expounds the experience and perception in the creative process.
