Since the 1990 s,with the continuous deepening of reform and opening up and the vigorous development of the market economy,people's thinking and concepts have undergone tremendous changes.Novels with college teachers as the main characters emerge in endlessly,and the image of college teachers in literary writing has become increasingly rich and diverse,becoming one of the hotspots of contemporary literature research.According to the image of university teachers in literary writing,readers can catch sight of the leopard,touch and outline the mentality and spiritual evolution of contemporary intellectuals,and then grasp the essential characteristics of the changes of the times and the transformation of society.Therefore,the research on the image of university teachers in literary writing since the 1990 s has not only important academic value,but also greater social significance.The thesis mainly has the following parts:First of all,the research background and origin of the topic selection,research status and existing deficiencies have been preliminarily combed,and the basic concepts involved in the research have been defined accordingly,and the academic value and social significance of the research have been clarified.The second is the focus of the thesis,which is divided into three chapters.The first chapter summarizes the images of college teachers that have appeared in literary writing since the 1990 s,and focuses on three types of typical college teachers' images,that is,those who adhere to the bottom line and are determined to ask questions in the era of rapid change;A perverted person who can hardly resist temptation and loses himself;an embarrassed person who is difficult to choose between guarding and abandoning and confused.The second chapter focuses on exploring the potential textual connotations behind these images,and interpreting why the images of college teachers have received more and more attention from writers since the 1990s?Through a multi-dimensional analysis of this literary phenomenon,it examines the characteristics of the times behind the image of college teachers.It focuses on the analysis of the shift of intellectual positions of college teachers under the influence of the social age and the changes in the educational system of colleges and universities,and explores the essence of this type of character image.The third chapter returns to the subject of creation,focusing on the analysis of the writer's internal motivation for writing the image of college teachers since the transition period in the 1990 s.Regardless of the eulogy to the unyielding,the flogging of the perished,or the true writing and affectionate attention to the gray life of the confused,it is a heavy salvation for college teachers,the entire group of intellectuals,and even the era.The hope for the future embodies the ideal of recasting the ideal personality and constructing the future vision of society,the country,and the nation.Finally,the problem consciousness of the thesis lies in placing the subject in the special cultural context since the transition period in the 1990 s,examining the writer's exploration of the spirit of intellectuals in colleges and universities and thinking about life,and trying to interpret their identity from a historical perspective.The unique cultural significance and social value of the novel explores the unique fate of intellectuals in literary writing in the past 30 years,and the significance of reconstructing the ideal personality of intellectuals in the future.
