Leader speech,as a special style of style,is an important communication method for a person to express one's own views by using one's own special identity on certain occasions.In particular,the speeches delivered by national leaders represent not only the views of the leaders themselves,but also the attitudes and propositions of the entire country.Through the speeches of national leaders,all people can understand the important achievements of the country recently,the development plan for a period of time in the future,the latest national policies and so on.Not only that,when national leaders make speeches on some international occasions,their relevant propositions or suggestions will affect further exchanges and contacts between countries,reflecting the latest developments in the world.Therefore,when leaders of various countries make speeches on some international occasions,analyzing and translating these important speeches has become the focus of work.At the same time,as an important carrier of discourse communication,language reflects the speaker's views,thoughts and attitudes.Therefore,when speakers are expressing their own opinions or opinions,in order to effectively realize their real communicative purpose,they often adopt different language expressions according to the difference of the speech object,speech content and speech style.And thes e differences in language expression will be revealed through the vocabulary and rhetoric used by the speaker in the communication process.Therefore,by analyzing the style and style characteristics of the leaders' speech in terms of vocabulary and rhetoric,it can help the listener to understand the true meaning of the leader's speech,effectively promote the smooth progress of communication,and achieve the purpose of both parties' communication.This article mainly takes the speeches of Chinese and South Korean leaders as the research object,starting from two aspects of vocabulary and rhetoric,and carries out a comparative study on the stylistic characteristics of the speeches of Chinese and South Korean leaders.At the same time,in order to ensure the objectivity of the corpus,this article has selected 40 original speeches from the official website of the Blue House of Korea and the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China,respectively.A comparative analysis of the frequency of vocabulary and the frequency of rhetoric was carried out,and the stylistic characteristics of the speeches of Chinese and Korean leaders in terms of vocabulary and rhetoric were examined.The full text is mainly divided into four parts,the specific composition is as follows.The first chapter is the introduction part of this article.It mainly focuses on the research purpose and significance of this article,the ontological research and comparative research status of leaders' speeches in China and South Korea,the research object and research scope of this article,and the definition of leaders' speeches.A detailed description.The second chapter is the key part of this article,mainly focusing on the comparative study of the characteristics of vocabulary usage in the speeches of Chinese and Korean leaders.After counting the frequency of words used in the speeches of the leaders of China and South Korea,this article is based on "Modern Chinese Dictionary"(seventh edition),"Modern Chinese"(edited by Huang Borong and Liao Xudong)and(?)((?))classified these vocabularies,and carried out a detailed analysis of the characteristics of commonly used vocabulary in different vocabulary types according to the frequency of use,and finally compared the use of vocabulary in the speeches of Chinese and Korean leaders.Similarities and differences in the above.In the same way,the third chapter mainly conducts a comparative study on the stylistic styles of Chinese and Korean leaders' speeches from the rhetoric level.After sorting out all the rhetorical sentences used in the speeches of the leaders of China and South Korea,this article sorts out these sentences,and counts the frequency of use of various types of rhetorical devices,analyzes the characteristics of the use of these rhetorical devices,and compares them.The similarities and differences in the rhetoric of the speeches of the leaders of China and South Korea are discussed.The last chapter is the conclusion part,which mainly summarizes and summarizes the vocabulary and rhetoric usage characteristics in the speeches of the leaders of China and South Korea.It is hoped that the comparative study of this article can broaden the research objects of leaders'speeches and enrich the research content of leaders'speeches,while also providing a certain reference for the translation of relevant leaders'speeches.
