"Silent Strings" is a pipa solo created by composer Sun Jing-ji with elements of Northern Indian music.Its unique musical style is relatively rare in contemporary PIPA composition.The author takes "the strings of silence" as the research object,first of all,from the musical Noumenon,analyzes the structure of this piece,the Indian musical elements and other characteristics;secondly,from the performer's perspective,combined with the characteristics of musical form,this paper analyzes how to show the Indian musical characteristics of this piece through the PIPA technique,and finally,through the author's personal experience in playing the piece,discusses how to deal with phrases,impromptu paragraphs and technical skills,to get a deeper sense of the style of the piece. |
