In the context of the new era of national rejuvenation and national identity, most of the creation of Chinese court dances is still based on the Han court, while ignoring the large traditional dances that exist and have been passed down in many minority areas. As far as the ethnic composition of Chinese court dances is concerned, the court dances of ethnic minorities are the same as the court dances of the Han.Both are symbolic worlds constructed in the cultural background and historical deposits. As Professor Liu Jian said:"Their performances have unconsciously presented the beauty of traditional dance culture...We can completely make them exist in the forest of Chinese classical dance art through artistic negotiation",In the context of this "negotiation",the cultural research on the court dance of ethnic minorities is not only conducive to the diverse construction of Chinese classical dance, but also extends from the "little ritual to the wild" to the study of the court dance of the Han,which has dual theoretical value. This article starts with the ethnic minority court dance culture, combines Chinese ethnic choreography techniques, semiotics, dance body linguistics and other disciplines and theoretical basis, using a variety of research methods to explore the value of ethnic minority court dance culture to contemporary dance creation.
