"Dao De Jing" is the first complete Chinese philosophical work that has been circulating for 2500 years. The author is Lao Zi(Li Er).It is famous at China and abroad for its rich philosophical significance, political wisdom and cultural spirit. The content includes "Dao Pian".According to the philosophical terms displayed in the "Large Dictionary of Chinese Philosophy",there are 62 philosophical terms appearing in the contents of Chapter 81,which focus on the expression of governance, harmony, justice, and respect. The concepts of civic,self-cultivation,and self-cultivation have valuable cultural, educational and research values. The corpus of this article-"?rd?mnam?" is a Uyghur translation of the ancient Chinese text in the popular version of Tao Te Ching. It was published and distributed by Kashgar Uyghur Press in 2013.The translators were Diliber Abudureyimu and Nurguli Aiyiti. The research content of this article is divided into six chapters. The introduction of the first chapter mainly includes the research purpose, significance, theory, corpus design, related research trends, corpus sources and transliteration symbols, etc.;the second chapter focuses on the Chinese "Dao De Jing" and its author Lao Zi,the corpus of this article—The Uyghur translation of"Dao De Jing" and its translators provide a basis for the development of the research content;Chapter 3 begins to enter the research topic, starting with the introduction of the definition of philosophical terms, and then the philosophical terms that reflect the concepts related to the core values of socialism with Chinese characteristics After roughly classifying and describing the semantic and pragmatic features it embodies, focus on the Uyghur translation style and characteristics of philosophical terminology;Chapter 4 discusses the Chinese-Uyghur corpus of philosophical terminology originally established in the Tao Te Ching Through analysis,it can be concluded that the frequency of philosophical terms appearing and the differences between the translations, such as:the philosophical term "Dao" appears 74 times in the original text, and there are 7 Uyghur translations of "dao" in the corpus, namely "t?riq?t"(86 times),"to(?)ra jol"(1 time),"t?riq?t joli"(2 times),"qanun"(4 times),"qanunij?t"(2 times),"id3timaij ??laq"(1 time),"mizan"(1time),etc.,and so on,and then analyze the characteristics of Uyghur translation of its philosophical terms. As the research focus of this article,Chapter 5 mainly focuses on the analysis of translation methods around the research object of this article. In the process of analysis, the specific context of philosophical terms is used as an example to list the Uyghur translations of philosophical terms.Translation methods, such as:the philosophical term "Zhi" that appears in chapters 59 and 64 of the original text does not have a corresponding vocabulary in its translation. Here you can find that the translator has skillfully used the "Zero translation" technique. The rhetoric combined with metaphor expresses the semantics of the philosophical terms in the original text.As the conclusion part,Chapter 6 summarizes the contents of the first five chapters, points out the deficiencies in the thesis, and proposes personal thoughts and future prospects on the Uyghur translation of Chinese philosophical terms. The author established the Chinese-Uyghur bilingual corpus of "Dao De Jing" and used the "Chinese Philosophy Dictionary" as the basis for screening philosophical terms. The 62 philosophical terms and their Uyghur translations were retrieved, and the "Dao De Jing" philosophical terminology in the Uyghur translation has the characteristics of multiple Uyghur translations of a term, similar semantics between the translations,"meaning" in free translation, and descriptive translation. It combines the context of philosophical terms in the original Chinese and Uyghur translation. It summarizes the translation methods used by the translator, such as free translation, literal translation, literal annotation, and provincial translation,as well as the techniques of Zero translation, addition of words, and choice of antonyms.
