A wave of young,brilliant and creative talents have emerged in the Mongolian Chinese novel literary world since entering the new century.These Mongolian writers,who were born in the 1980s and grew up during the booming period of reform and opening up,portrayedthe story in their era,depending on the unique life experience and national memory.Remarkably,the study of Mongolian "post-80s"writers,a single writer or a literary work will be included in the overall“post-80s" minority writersin view of the existing relevant research fields.Due to the fragmented way of existence,their status and value in literary history were reduced to the confused state.Therefore,the author believes that the increasingly mature Mongolian "post-80s" Chinese writers are a significant part of contemporary grassland literature.Only by studying them as a whole can we truly understand the current situation and future development of Mongolian Chinese novels.Based on National Literature and Grassland magazines,this paper consists of three parts,including introduction,main body,and conclusion.The introduction content includes research reviews at home and abroad,as well as indispensable explanations on the value and significance of the topic,research status and research methods.In the first chapter,it gives an overview of the themes of the novels edited by the Mongolian"post-80s" writers.Influenced by the background of the era,a stronger sense of crisis and anxiety have been demonstrated in their works.Moreover,the emotions of nostalgia and outlook,sadness and contradiction appear alternatively.Throughout the Mongolian "post-80s" works,the general context structure can be sorted out from its diversified selection of themes,including urban themes which expresses the youth,grassland life which retrospects the tradition,and magical legends which reflectsthe philosophy.In the second chapter,the novel image system of Mongolian "post-80s" writers is analyzed.Compared with the writers of previous generations,they get down to paying more attention to the confficts and struggles of the people living at the grassland because of the multiple influences of the era.Meanwhile,they penetrated into the inward world of the characters in detail and expressed the conflict between their personal desires and reality.In general,it can be divided into left-behind senior citizens who stick to the traditions,those walkaway who long for the urban life,and migrant youth who have integrated into the grassland life.In the third chapter,the artistic pursuit of Mongolian "post-80s" writers is described.Many life contents are shown from their works considering the influence of the market economy,such as realistic depictions of realism and artistic sublimation of romanticism.Among the many artistic pursuits of his works,a deep analysis of several prominent aspectsshould be made by the author,like plenty pictures,and rich environmental descriptions;the mysterious and magical religious consciousness;the creation of changeable images and metaphors formed by the influence of traditional literature.In the conclusion part,the gains and losses of the Mongolian "post-80s" writers are summarized.In addition,their position in the Mongolian literary world and the mainstream 'post-80s' literary world,is explored and the possibility of spiritual inheritance of Mongolian literature is discussed.
