Character Modeling In The Dance Drama "The Back"

Dance is the spiritual food for the development of human society.It uses body language to express and convey people's thoughts and feelings.The creation of a moving dance works,rich story and prominent character image is its essential conditions,among which the character image is the core of choreography.When creating dance works,especially those with realistic themes,in order to better reflect the real life,create distinct characters and achieve the purpose of touching the heart,the choreographer often goes deep into life and integrates his own emotional experience into the works.This paper takes the literary work The Back as the blueprint and the drama,film and other art forms adapted from the story as the reference.While fully restoring the story,this paper explores the analysis and shaping methods of character images in dance drama editing and creation,and provides broader ideas for the editing and creation of dance works with the combination of my own editing and creation perception.
