On The Performance Techniques And Musical Characteristics Of The Pipa Concerto "Qilian Rhapsody"

Since the mid-1980s,with the reform and opening up of China,a large number of western music genres have been introduced into China.Composers have broken the traditional thinking of composing music and appropriately applied western composition techniques in the creation of traditional Chinese folk music.The Pipa concerto Qilian Rhapso was composed by the composer Han Lankui in 1995.The music combines western musical forms with traditional Chinese Musical Instruments,and USES sonata-style musical structure to depict the natural scenery of Qilian Mountain and the optimistic and positive attitude of qilian mountain people.The melody is beautiful,sincere emotion,rich content.The music fully integrates the folk songs of northwest China with strong regional culture and distinctive musical style.Starting from the background of music creation,this paper analyzes the structure of the music,the musical characteristics,the application of northwest folk material in the music,the playing techniques and the emotional processing of the music.
