The Creative Features And Artistic Value Of The Erhu Concerto "Red Plum Capriccio"

"Red plum Capriccio" is an erhu solo composed by Chinese Erhu composer Mr.Wu Houyuan.It is based on the core melody of the familiar song "praise of red plum" after adaptation and re creation.It plays the heroic image of Jiangjie and the spirit of contribution to the motherland with erhu.The author has broken through the previous way of composition,trying to use the theme of opera,combined with western composition method,and has a certain breakthrough in the performance of character.Erhu shows the background of music in the way of lyric nostalgia,and depicts the emotional changes in Jiangjie's heart.This paper analyzes the creative characteristics and artistic value of the works.
