of Chinese culture.However,compared with Chinese philosophical and literary classics,the current research on the translation of Chinese scientific and technological classics is still relatively small.Therefore,attention should be paid to the research on the translation of Chines'e scientific and technological classics.As the first systematic treatises on forensic medicine in the history of human civilization,Xi Yuan Ji Lu(??????)has made pioneering contributions to the formation and development of modern forensic medicine.At the same time,as a spread of up to a country and there are many versions of the traditional Chinese medicine combined with law of the classics of ancient Chinese science and technology,the Xi Yuan Ji Lu already spread abroad the characteristics of the popular medical classics,at the same time,both the characteristics of legal texts,with the Xi Yuan Ji Lu of translation study is beneficial for broadening the research corpus of Chinese science and technology works,Perfecting the construction of the translation framework of Chinese science and technology classics.Purposes:The His Yuan Lu,or Instructions to Coroners which translated by Giles,H.A.was published in the 19th century,when the attitude of the west towards China was changing from "hot" to "cold".After the Opium War,China was reduced from a feudal society to a semi-colonial and semi-feudal society,and the perception of China in the west began to shift from a flat view to a overlooking view.In this context,The His Yuan Lu,or Instructions to Coroners received a high evaluation in the west.On the other hand,at the moment when Chinese culture is in urgent need of "going out",the translation of Chinese scientific and technological classics serves as a bridge for cross-cultural communication,which can cross the barrier between China and the west.Therefore,this paper aims to analyze and study the subjectivity of the translator in The His Yuan Lu,or Instructions to Coroners,The translation strategies and methods of the translation,The influence of social environmental factors,and the effect of communication from the perspectives of ontology,subject and object.Expand the current research path of translation of Chinese scientific and technological classics,enrich the research content of translation theory of Chinese scientific and technological classics,and realize the effective dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine culture.Methods:1.Literature research.First of all,this paper searches the relevant literatures of Xi Yuan Ji Lu to understand that the translation research of Chinese scientific and technological classics still needs to be paid more attention,and that the English translation research of Xi Yuan Ji Lu is still not comprehensive and systematic.In addition,through version research,the Chinese original copy of The His Yuan Lu,or Instructions to Coroners was determined to be Bu Zhu Ji Zheng(?????????),and the process of its formation was summarized.Although Bu Zhu Xi Yuan Lu Ji Zheng to a large extent followed the content and style of Lv Li Guan Jiao Zheng Xi Yuan Lu(??????????),its core content is in the same line as Xi Yuan Ji Lu.Based on Xi Yuan Ji Lu,it expands and records Song Ci's subsequent achievements in forensic medicine,which is of great value for revealing the development process of forensic medicine in ancient China and even modern China.The determination of the original text of the translation is conducive to the in-depth study of the formation process of the translation and the translator's behavior.In addition,by combing the translation literature,the external framework influencing the translation of Xi Yuan Ji Lu is constructed,including the translator's background and social environment.2.Comparative analysis.After careful reading and comparison of Bu Zhu Xi Yuan Lu Ji Zheng and The His Yuan Lu,or Instructions to Coroners,the translator's conscious behavior in the translation was analyzed by comparing the contents in Chinese and English.This paper makes a close reading and comparison of Lu,or Instructions to Coroners and Brian E.McKnight's version of Xi Yuan Ji Lu,The washing away of wrongs:forensic medicine in thirteenth-century China,and analyzes the translator's behavior and translation strategies adopted in the two versions.3.Case analysis.To study the core terms of the original version and the translation version,as well as study the difference of their connotations and the dissemination effect.4.Summary.summarizing and sort out the factors that influence the translation of Xi Yuan Ji Lu and their influence on the foreign communication of Xi Yuan Ji Lu,so as to provide theoretical basis and practical reference for the current translation and dissemination of scientific and technological classics.Conclusions:First,the choice of the original version is particularly important,which affects the content quality of the translation.At the moment when Chinese culture is in urgent need of dissemination,the best way for a translator to choose a base book is to choose a base book that has been accurately collated by famous artists.This can not only guarantee the quality of the base book,but also rely on the collation of the base book to assist translation.Second,the translator's internal and external environment affects the final rendering effect of the translation.Translators can follow the guidance of the style of classical books,retain their basic framework,and highlight the characteristics of Chinese culture.In addition,the scientific and technological classics are different from the general literature or philosophy classics,and the current translators should retain all the intellectual contents when translating the scientific and technological classics,and indicate the contents that are contrary to the current scientific and technological development.Thirdly,the translation of classical books has incomplete equivalence.The translator's intrusion and absorption of the original text will damage the meaning of the original text,so the translator needs to collect relevant auxiliary materials as the basis for understanding the translated original text.Fourthly,the translator needs to take various measures to supplement the content of the translation and restore the meaning of the original text as much as
