After Tibetan Buddhism was introduced to Mongolia,it merged with Mongolian history,culture,and people's living habits,forming a Buddhist culture with Mongolian elements.Historically,in order to better promote Tibetan Buddhism in Mongolia,some Tibetan scriptures were gradually translated into Mongolian,and Mongolian chanting began.The center of chanting in Mongolian is Meili Gengzhao Temple.Mei Li Gengzhao Temple used Mongolian chanting since the beginning of the temple building,and it has continued to this day.The puja refers to Buddhist ceremonies.The Mani puja is a puja held to pray for blessings and disasters.It is also one of the most solemn pujas in Tibetan Buddhist monasteries.Meili Gengzhao is held annually by the Gelug Sect Huang Sect.The Mani Fa conference is also one of the most important conferences called by Mei Li Geng.In this way,this article turns the research perspective to the case of rituals in Mongolian pujas,and through participating in the observation and recording of the rituals,it explains the sound of the rituals and the symbolic meanings of the rituals of the Mani puja.The theoretical methods of ethnomusicology are used to analyze the sounds inthe ritual and various theoretical methods are used to explain the symbolic meaning of the ritual.The research direction is not only limited to the historical background of Mongolian chanting and the morphological analysis and intangible cultural heritage protection of Mongolian chanting,but to participate in the observation of the ritual process of the Mani Puja through field investigations to explain its ritual sounds through ritual cases The meaning of ritual symbolism.
