Shanyin Qi Family Opera Creation And Critic Research

The Qi’s in Shanyin with scholar spreads the family and talented person comes out in large numbers.In such a cultural family,a number of musicians have emerged in successive generations.They have dabbled in the collection of books,creation,performance and theory of opera,and have had an important impact on the history of opera in the late Ming Dynasty.It also left valuable opera literature for later generations.This paper studies the opera creation and criticism of the Qi’s in the late Ming Dynasty.From the angle of family literature,this paper discusses the influence and critical contribution of the opera of the Qi’s in Shanyin by the methods of theoretical criticism and mutual proof of literature and history.The first chapter,"the origin of the Qi’s in Shanyin and the cultural origin of the opera”,first introduces the basic situation of the Qi’s family and the various dramatists.And then discusses the process from gathering to missing of the Qi’s collection of opera.Finally,it combs the interaction of the Qi’s and other famous dramatists of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Through the above contents,this chapter highlights the lineage of the family’s opera,all these is to explore the origin of the Qi’s opera culture from the horizontal and vertical latitudes.The second chapter,"the opera creation of the Qi’s in Shanyin",discusses the reasons for creation,the characteristics of the opera,the performance situation,the evaluation and influence of Qi Linjia’s Taizhuangfang four Drama,Qi Junjia’s Yuanyangjin,Qi Zhijia’s Yuzhu Ji and Meitouyanjiao,Qi Biaojia’s Quanjieji and Yuerfo.While studying these writers’ works,this chapter also analyses the appraisal of among the musicians,the arranged and printed to link them into the whole family,so as to explore the overall situation of the Qi’s opera creation.The third chapter "the Opera criticism of the Qi’s in Shanyin"from relevant monographs,letters,prefaces,poems and biographies to summarize the theories of traditional Chinese opera criticism which are scattered among Qi’s musicians combining with the history of opera criticism to discuss its influences on them.What’s more,this chapter also discusses the Qi’s contributions to the history of drama in the late Ming Dynasty.The conclusion part further summarizes the historical significance of the creation and criticism of the Qi’s opera in Shanyin,and considers its profound influence on the history of Chinese opera.
