Research On The Current Situation And Strategies Of Cross-cultural Communication Ability Training For English Majors In Physical Education Colleges

In the New Era,China's political,economic and cultural exchanges with the world have become more and more extensive.As a universal language,English is still an indispensable medium of communication for China's external development and cultural dissemination.In the new era,new requirements are put forward for English classroom teaching and the cultivation of English majors.According to the syllabus for English majors,the content and objectives of foreign language teaching have changed from emphasizing the language skills of foreign language learners to cultivating and improving the language communication skills and abilities of foreign language learners through the comprehensive use of language.It has become an inevitable trend in the development of the Times to carry out research on the cultivation of cross-cultural communicative competence for English majors in sports colleges and universities.Based on this,this study aims to analyze the current situation and challenges of cultivating talents with cross-cultural communication ability in sports colleges and universities,combined with the characteristics of English major training in sports colleges and universities,finally,the paper puts forward some strategies with high preciseness and practicability for the cultivation of cross-cultural communicative competence of English majors in Sports Colleges.First of all,on the basis of consulting and analyzing the literature materials,this study uses scientific research methods such as questionnaire survey,interview and consulting the relevant scientific literature materials,this paper makes an objective investigation and analysis of the cultivation of English majors;cross-cultural communicative competence in sports colleges and universities in China.This paper sums up and puts forward the problems existing in the process of cultivating cross-cultural communicative competence of English Majors(English in sports).Secondly,Based on the investigation of the cultivation of cross-cultural communicative competence of English Majors in sports colleges and universities,it is found that the cultivation of cross-cultural communicative competence in colleges and universities is simplified by a single mode.The main way of cultivating talents in schools is education and teaching,and teaching activities are the bilateral behaviors of teaching and learning one by one between teachers and students.Therefore,students' understanding and learning of cross-cultural communicative competence,the lack of professional staff,the construction of teaching materials and social practice will also make the effect of professional construction unsatisfactory,it restricts the improvement of cross-cultural communicative competence of English Majors in sports colleges and universities.Finally,on the basis of the results of questionnaire survey and expert interview,this paper puts forward some concrete teaching suggestions:We should make clear the orientation of professional training goal,grasp the characteristics of the course,make clear the status of cross-cultural communication ability,take demand as the Guide;rely on the development of professional training program,the construction of teachers,the practice activities inside and outside the school,the students themselves to improve.Of course,the cultivation of English majors' intercultural communication competence in Sports Colleges is not a simple process.It needs the efforts of the state,schools,society,teachers and students.
