With the rapid development of science and technology as a productive force,great changes have taken place in the way of human life,and the appearance of works of art has also changed.New things bring new attempts,and the boundaries of art forms are weakening.Sculpture is presented to the audience in an unprecedented style.Animation involves numerous fields.With the development of science and technology,the relationship between sculpture and animation is becoming closer and closer.Today,computer software can help people more quickly and easily create an animation or a very real video that disturbs the space-time dimension.Many people are already familiar with making sculptures with 3D modeling software.However,in spite of the variety of creative media,it is inevitable that there will be a feeling of being unable to start in the creative process.In addition to finding out what content you want to convey,what tools and how to express it is the key for artists to deal with.The author starts with the basic form,compares the different expressive forces of the lines,shapes,bodies,materials,spaces and other languages in sculpture and animation art,distinguishes the unique charm of the two artistic forms.Through the analysis and comparison of the two kinds of works,this paper discusses the influence of animation on sculpture creation.
