Attentional bias is one of the reasons for the occurrence and maintenance of mental illness(such as anxiety, depression, and substance dependence). It has a predictive effect on judging whether addiction and other problems.Research on attentional bias has found that addicts have an attentional bias for addiction-related information. As a carrier with a high frequency of use in life, mobile phones have important theoretical and practical significance to study the phenomenon of attention bias in the use of smartphone. There are still several unresolved issues in the current research:(1)The relationship between problematic smartphoneuse and attentional bias is unclear.(2)The brain mechanism that affects attentional bias is still unclear. In summary, this research focuses on the following issues:(1)The relationship between smartphone overuse and attention bias.(2)The characteristics of different levels of problematic smartphoneuse among college students who are biased towards mobile phone-related information.(3)The characteristics of the brain mechanism of college students with different levels of problematic smartphoneuse to pay attention to mobile phone-related information.Experiment 1 used the questionnaire method to survey 89 college students at school to study the current situation of college students' problematic smartphoneuse. The smartphone usage scale was used to measure the subject's problematic smartphoneuse and the stroop paradigm was subsequently used to measure the subject's response time.It was found that subjects of different problematic smartphoneuse all had an attention bias towards mobile phone-related information. There is no significant difference in the attentional bias of mobile phone-related information between the level of problematic smartphoneuse.Experiment 2 used 33 participants to use stroop paradigm and near-infrared technology to explore the difference in attentional bias of problematic smartphoneuse to mobile phone-related information from the level of brain structure. It was found that the subjects' reaction to the detection points appearing on the side of the phone-related pictures was significantly faster than the detection points appearing on the phone's similar pictures. The subjects with a higher level of problematic smartphoneuse received information from the phone when facing the phone-related information.Significant activation. The lower frontal gyrus of the triangle and the upper medial frontal gyrus were significantly activated when the subjects with lower problematic smartphoneuse levels faced similar mobile phones.Under the conditions of this research, the following conclusions were obtained:(1)The problematic smartphoneuse students showed an attention bias towards mobile phone-related information. The reaction time when the detection point appears on the side of the phone is significantly lower than the reaction time when the detection point appears on the side of a similar picture on the phone.(2)During this process, the middle frontal gyrus and the prefrontal area are obviously activated.
