The sports world in the era of mass media has changed from the form of amateur leisure participation to a professional economy centered on audiences.The choice of commercialization determines the entry and departure of professional athletes.The issue of labor security of retired athletes is becoming more and more serious.The issue of reemployment of retired athletes has become one of the core issues in the era of sports and leisure.our country currently implements a nationwide system,and students majoring in physical education rely on "physical" capital to enter the ranks of professional athletes through continuous efforts.However,when sports injuries come unexpectedly or in face of age growth,the experience of physical manipulation cannot be transformed into knowledge and skills in daily life.where should these athletes who have honed themselves for a long time to go? Based on the interviews of re-employment of retired athletes and the literature review of various documentaries and feature films,this article creates a 30-minute documentary "Restart" to show the current situation of re-employment of retired athletes.Aerobics Athlete Zong Jianxin opened a recording studio after retiring,professional male basketball player Fan Chenglin engaged in medical work after retiring,and rowing athlete Feng Qi worked as an instructor after retiring.These three athletes of different ages,items,performance and different retirement times are recorded.Through the interviews of the three athletes as well as the surrounding people,this subject aims at showing how athletes career can change their lives and providing a new perspective for other retired athletes through the different ways of restarting life of the three retired athletes.
