On Cao Zheng's Exploration And Contribution To The Guzheng Fingering Norms

Cao Zheng,as an important founder of modern zither,began to focus on the reform of finger law in the 1940 s.He actively absorbed the experience of forefathers' finger playing and notation,combined with his own learning and teaching experience,constantly studied and innovated boldly,which led to the development of modern finger law gradually towards the road of standardized development.As an important research achievement,Guzheng Playing Law shows the characteristics of Cao Zheng's finger rule from many aspects,such as finger name,symbol and gesture.These characteristics and related measures of the reform have made outstanding contributions to the development of modern Zheng music,mainly manifested in clarifying the direction of modern finger law reform,promoting the development of zither teaching materials towards "systematization ",promoting the popularization of zither art and expanding the new field of zither theory research.
