Cao Anhe's Life And Academic Contributions

Cao Anhe is an outstanding female musicologist in the 20 th century in my country.She has made many achievements in the research of pipa,Kunqu,and national music theory.He has fruitful academic achievements and is of great research value.Nearly a hundred years old,she has personally experienced the changes and historical rise and fall of our country for a century,witnessed the development of music education,and participated in the construction of national music.It can be said that understanding Cao Anhe means understanding music history.Cao Anhe,born in the early 20 th century,has a dual education background of traditional music and modern musicology.Kunqu opera was taught by Wuxi Tianyun Club,and his pipa was inherited by Liu Tianhua of Beijing Women’s Normal University.After graduation,he began teaching.During the war,he joined Yang Yinliu and transferred to Kunming and Chongqing.The two have cooperated several times,and Cao Anhe started the road of musicology.Later,a group of researchers in Beijing and Yang Yinliu,specializing in the study of folk music,participated in a number of folk music investigations,and prepared for the establishment of a folk music research institute.Cao Anhe,who focuses on basic research,is committed to searching,sorting,compiling,and publishing all kinds of musical scores,and has made a lot of contributions.Summarizing and practicing Yang Yinliu’s academic experience,adhering to the principle of combining theory with practice,he has written several articles and written many books,and at the same time integrates this principle into teaching work,leading a generation of excellent style of study.As a female scholar who came out of the 20 th century,Cao Anhe faces more challenges than men.Under the characteristics of the times,Cao Anhe shows a persistent,low-key and reserved female image with a certain degree of dependence.
