Through the interpretation of the composition in the traditional ethnic figure painting,this paper enumerates and explains the artistic value of the composition of the traditional ethnic figure painting,summarizes the composition concept of the traditional ethnic figure painting,analyzes the innovation of composition by combining the modern and contemporary ethnic figure painting,and expounds the influence of the content of characters on composition.This paper discusses several composition forms of figure painting on ethnic themes,and studies the importance of composition in artistic creation by combining analysis and induction with a large number of literature and actual creation.Combined with the decorative effect of costumes on the picture composition,the recombination of costumes forms the relationship of density,black,white and gray in the picture,showing the historical background of national unity,prosperity and strength of the socialist big family.This paper takes the artistic connotation of traditional ethnic theme composition and the composition type of modern and contemporary ethnic theme figure painting as the starting point,and studies the rules of composition art by combining theory with creation practice,so as to lay a foundation for the ideological guidance of future painting creation.
