With the development of society,the content and form of teaching Chinese as a foreign language are constantly changing and innovating.Audio-visual courses have greatly enriched the teaching content and forms of traditional teaching.This paper mainly discusses the teaching value of "A Bite of China ? " as a teaching material for audio-visual courses in terms of content,language and culture,and give a detailed explanation of the curriculum setting,finally the author takes the first episode "Qi" as an example to carry out specific teaching design.This paper hopes to enrich the teaching resources and provide some new teaching models for audio-visual courses in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.There are four chapters in this paper.The first chapter is the introduction,including the purpose and research significance of the topic,research content and methods,and domestic and foreign literature research.The second chapter is an overview and theoretical basis of the audio-visual course in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,which mainly includes the definition of audio-visual course,the purpose of teaching,the selection principle of audio-visual course material and the teaching principle.The paper explores the feasibility of applying "A Bite of China ?" to audio-visual courses based on audio-visual teaching methods and Edgar Dale's "Tower of Experience" theory.The third chapter discusses the preliminary analysis of the value of "A Bite of China ? " as audio-visual teaching materials from four aspects:the reason,content introduction,language value analysis,and analysis of cultural value.The forth chapter uses selected fragments from the first episode of "Qi" of "A Bite of China ?”to formulate a specific teaching design for audio-visual courses in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and summarize the teaching practice.The last part is the concluding part,which mainly summarizes this research,analyzes the pros and cons of "A Bite of China ?" as the teaching design for audio-visual courses in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and it puts forward some suggestions for improvement.
