| Childhood is a critical period of life.Because of the lack of experience,there is a vague understanding of scientific knowledge,science picture books guide children to learn scientific knowledge,which has potential value to the cultivation of their scientific quality.Domestic science picture books are limited in color and painting style,lacking innovation.Moreover,the characteristic attributes are not strong enough,the content is lengthy,and its binding design lacks safety considerations.And the high production cost results in a premium surcharge to the targeted audience.Furthermore,children's science picture books are lacking in attractive content,illustrations,and binding design,which causes a loss of interest from kids.From the perspective of child physiology and psychology,by dividing the age group,this article studied the characteristics of the perception,valued the intrinsic needs of kids,studied the characteristics and advantages of kids,demonstrated the essence of popular science culture,avoided the mistakes of false science,and discussed its positive influence on children.Then the author chose four public schools in the urban area and issued 400 questionnaires.Through interviews,field studies,surveys,questionnaires,data analysis,the author dug into popular story content,color expression,narrative,characteristics among children audience.The author investigated design feasibility to bring enjoyment to science picture books,through frame design,extracting Marine biological elements,using picture book language for the art direction.And ultimately by a field study of printing technology,choosing safe and environmental materials,according to the theory of physical cognition,exploring interesting picture books not only has a visual design to attract children to read,but also a touchable design conducive to children's body perception.A well-coordinated polymorphic perceptual picture book is the essence of its interesting innovation. |
