An important representative of phenomenology Ingarden who theory for music works had a profound impact,the monograph “music works and the problem of its identity” has a profound and original ideas for music works,this article main research point is “music works and the problem of its identity ”of the fifth chapter-the sounding and nonsounding elements of a musical work,the composition of sound mainly refers to the sound foundation,the nonsounding elements of the composition refers to the sound-constructs,movement,the forms,representationnal themes,emotional quality,aesthetically valuable,research aims to comb nonsoundings element and sound relationship in music.In this connection,the research on the relationship between nonsounding elements and sounding foundation highlights the relationship between form and content in disciplinary problems.Through the research on nonsounding elements and sounding foundation,the long-term antagonistic relationship between form and content can be effectively resolved and a new theoretical fulcrum can be built for it.This paper is divided into four parts: the introduction,the origin of Ingarden's theory and nonsounding elements,the construction of the relationship between nonsounding elements and sounding foundation,and the explanation of the relationship between nonsounding elements and sounding foundation with the example of the symphonic poem Island of the dead.It can be seen from the study that the six nonsounding elements described by Ingarden form three different relationships with the sounding foundation,and the sound-constructs and movement form a subordinate relationship with the sounding foundation;the forms and representationnal themes form a permeating relationship with the sounding foundation;the emotional quality and aesthetically valuable form a generative relationship with the sounding foundation.On this basis,the validity of the research is to involve a specific musical work--the symphonic poem Island of the dead.The specific musical work and theoretical research are mutually observed,thus,the theory of the relationship between non-sounding elements and sounding foundation is constructed.
