In recent years,scholars at home and abroad have done more and more researches on pragmatics,and speech act theory has always been one of the hot topics in pragmatics research.Combining the practical application of speech concrete with speech act theory,this perspective will become a new hot trend of speech act research.Domestic research on the speech act of complaints is relatively single,mainly focusing on the study of complaints strategies;foreign research on direct complaints and indirect complaints are related,but there is a lack of comparative research on the pragmatic function of the speech act of complaints between China and South Korea,so it is aimed at complaints.A comparative research on the speech act of complaints between Chinese and Korean is necessary.Under the background of the Internet era,people can hardly avoid online communication.The product review function of online shopping platforms is one of the important communication methods between merchants and customers,and it is also one of the places where complaints occur relatively frequently.Based on the above research object,the researcher uses the speech act of complaints in product reviews of the online shopping platforms(Taobao,Jingdong,LOTTE MART,and G-market)in China and South Korea as corpus to compare and analyze the pragmatic functions and pragmatic strategies of the speech act of complaints in the two languages.Then summarize the specific performance and characteristics.On the one hand,it can enrich the pragmatic research of the speech act of complaints in China and South Korea,and add new directions;on the other hand,through the research of this article,it can provide foreign language learners with references to the expression or understanding of the speech act of complaints,and avoid misunderstandings.In terms of pragmatic function,the research mainly combines Olshtain ? Weinbach(1985,1993),Trosborg(1995)and Lee Sunhee(2009)to compare and analyze the specific expressions of complaints in China and South Korea from three perspectives:declarative function,request function and suggestion function.The main part is a comparative analysis of the pragmatic functions of Chinese and Korean speech act of complaints.A comparative analysis of the verbal act of complaints in China and South Korea from the perspectives of direct statement and comparative statement;a comparative analysis of the requesting function of complaints in China and South Korea from the perspectives of face threat and coerciveness,and the listener's right to choose;the suggestion function of speech act of complaints in China and South Korea is compared and analyzed according to the different suggestion objects.In terms of pragmatic strategies,we mainly refer to the classifications researched by Searle(1976),Blum-Kulka(1989),etc.and conduct a specific comparative analysis of Chinese and Korean complaints from two aspects: direct complaints strategy and indirect complaints strategy.Direct complaints include directly raising dissatisfaction,warnings and threats,offensive language,questioning and rhetorical questions,expressing willingness,irony,irony,etc.Indirect complaints are divided into strategies of implicit expression,suggestion,and suppression first,and specific analysis of their performance combined with context.
