The Qing dynasty was a period of maturity and finishing of traditional Chinese culture, and the Qianjia period was the peak of cultural development in the mid-Qing period.Changzhou,Jiangsu Province, was formerly known as Biling, and had the reputation of being a "tribe of famous scholars in the world, with no match for Changzhou in the southeast.Zhuang Xin(1735-1818)was a representative of the literati in Changzhou during the Qian-Jia period and a close friend of the literary group, the Seven Sons of Villeng, and was a scholar of literati with considerable research value. The chronology,as a basis for knowing people and discussing the world,is an important tool for literary and historical research. There are not many extant materials on Zhuang Xin,and his biography is not yet available,so the research on Zhuang Xin's life, family history, and poetry creation is almost in a blank, and there is much room for research.Through the study of Zhuang Xin and his era,the main research materials are the "Bi Ling Zhuang Clan Tree" and the "Poetry Collection of Bao Jian Tang" in the 24 th year of the Republic of China, and the "Zhuang Xin Collection" in the 2021 typescript of Guangling Book Company, supplemented by archives, genealogical records, local chronicles, other collections, diaries, and other historical materials,in the form of a chronology. The chronology is divided into five volumes. The chronology is divided into five volumes. The first volume,"Studying in the village",recounts that Zhuang Xin became famous as a young man,but failed to meet the four examinations he was called for.His father's party and mother's party were both from the prestigious clan of Biling.Volume II,"should be juried to travel to the curtain",Zhuang Xin traveled to the curtain in Jin and Guangdong to support the family. The bus dilly-dallying,only in a vice list.Volume 3,"as an official in Qin",records that Zhuang Xin entered the curtain of Bi Yuan, serving in Shaanxi, the administration is lenient,in Shaanxi very virtuous name.Volume4,"with the army",records that Zhuang Xin joined Yimian's army and came to Sichuan,Chongqing,Shaanxi, and Gansu, and accompanied the army to fight against thieves, and knew that the army was known at the time.Volume 5,"on the foster of the residence",records that Zhuang Xin begged for rest and retired, after the death of his son Zhuang Kuiji in office,Zhuang Xin returned with his grandson, the remaining scenes of the remaining sundial, happy old age and self-indulgence.As the first chronology of Zhuang Xin,there are three academic innovations: first, the compilation style is more perfect. The main text adopts the "outline style",which is divided into five parts according to the life history of the owner.Secondly, the materials used are richer and more authoritative. The collection of poems from the Pojintang is the only collection of poems by the patron that has survived to this day,so this use is of academic significance in filling in the gaps;the many primary archives in the First Historical Archives of China can be used to more accurately assess the patron's career.Third,it is a reflection of the regional atmosphere and the context of the times.Through combing the interactions between Zhuang Xin and his colleagues and friends,we can restore the vivid individuals in the group and look at the landscape of the group in which they lived.
