Simultaneous Interpretation Practice Report For Apple's Autumn Conference In 2021

This article is a report on the simultaneous interpretation practice for Apple Event in 2021.It includes the introduction of interpretation practice,the process of interpretation practice,the problems encountered in interpretation practice,the strategies to solve them and the summary of the practice.After listening to the recording of the interpretation practice and transcribing it into text,the author of the report found that the problems encountered in the practice were mainly divided into three kinds: misinterpretation of long and difficult sentences,misinterpretation and omission of technical terms,and information redundancy.The author proposes corresponding solution strategies based on relevant case studies.The author proposes the incremental interpretation methods and the sentence-driven strategy for the problem of misinterpretation of long and difficult sentences;the paraphrase-based method and keyword extraction for the problems of misinterpretation and omission of technical terms;and the information merging method for the problem of information redundancy.It is hoped that this interpretation practice report may provide some useful experience for future interpretation practice in similar situations.
