Research On Jiao Hong's "Wings Of Laozi" And "Wings Of Zhuangzi"

Lao Zi Yi and Zhuang Zi Yi,written by Jiao Hong,are two important works of Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi in late Ming Dynasty.Since the two books reflect some representative characters of Lao Xue and Zhuang Xues' development at that time,they deserve deeper research.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first part analyzes some basic information of Lao Zi Yi and Zhuang Zi Yi,including the writing background,which is introduced from the zeitgeist to Jiao Hong's own experience,the books' versions and Jiao Hong's special perspective on the annotation to the classic.Secondly,the paper explores the feature of explaining Tao basing on the selection of previous annotations in Lao Zi Yi.This chapter introduces it from two perspectives,including annotations' origin and feature.The previous annotations in Lao Zi Yi mostly originate from Dao Zang.In addition,Jiao Hong's selection in Lao Zi Yi is related to his own proposition of “immortality”,“Instincts” and mixing Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism together.Thirdly,in Zhuang Zi Yi,Jiao Hong values Nei part,which is revealed by the annotations.Moreover,Jiao Hong adopts the whole annotations of Guo Xiang,which are related to the zeitgeist,his opinions on Zhuang Zi and annotation itself.Even though Jiao Hong rarely takes some people's words in Zhuang Zi Yi,it does not means they are unimportant.Fourthly,the paper explores Jiao Hong's ideology of mixing Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism together from his viewpoints on some basic conceptions and their relations.What's more,Jiao Hong illuminates the syncretism of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism and puts forwards his ideas of the way to get Tao.Jiao Hong constructs an integrated system of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism,which reveals his specialty of Tao explanation.Last but not least,the paper explores the influence of Tai Zhou School's ideology to Jiao Hong's explanation of Tao,in order to show the value of Lao Zi Yi and Zhuang Zi Yi.
