A Study On The Communication Of Mongolian Naadam Culture From The Perspective Of Ritual

Traditional festivals have always been one of the important carriers of national culture transmission and inheritance.“Nadam” as one of the traditional festivals and folk activities in Mongols,plays a role of cultural heritage and Entertainment and education.Nadam culture has multiple identities,it is not only a traditional culture,but also a social way and social platform,and has become a cultural industry.This paper takes American scholar James Kerry's “ritualistic view of communication” as the core theory,takes the NADAM Congress in Xilingol as a ritual activity,analyzes the characteristics of the Nadam ceremony communication in Xilingol,this paper discusses the change and development of Nadam as “the transmission of ceremony” and its inheritance.The author tries to start with the three key points of “Ceremony”,“Symbol” and “Memory”.On the one hand,the ritual composition and ritual presentation of Nadam in Xilingol area were investigated through field research;On the other hand,through participating in observation and indepth interviews,the characteristics and significance of Xilingol's Nadam ceremony communication are deeply analyzed.By decoding the ritual,we can further explain the meaning of the symbolic symbols in the Nadam ceremony,and explain how these cultural symbols,which belong to Mongols,are internalized into the collective memory of the region,and how it plays an emotional and cultural role.The main body is divided into four parts: the first chapter from the Nadam origin and change,ritual time and place,ritual main body and content outlined the Nadam of Xilingol ritual composition.The second chapter analyzes the characteristics of the NADAM ceremony from the perspective of symbolic expression and communication field.The third chapter explains the new characteristics of Nadam's ritual communication from four aspects: the main body of the ceremony,the communication space,the communication channel and the communication content.The fourth chapter explains the meaning behind the ceremony of Nadam from the two aspects of symbol expression and cultural survival.It is found that the specific national symbol is an indispensable element in the Naadam ceremony,which not only reveals the rich cultural connotation of Nadam festival,but also becomes the collective subconscious and cultural memory in People's hearts.Through cultural performances and ritual construction,the Nadam festival in the perspective of the concept of communication ceremony shows the living habits,eating and living habits,clothing,music,religious beliefs and other elements of the people of Mongols,it embodies the spirit of the Nadam culture and the memory of Mongolian nomadic culture.Through a series of symbolic,procedural and action cultural performances,the “Nadam” Congress,with the participation of the compere,the performer and the audience,constitutes the communication field of coexistence of tradition and modernity,conversion of sacredness and secularity,the collective memory of creating an imaginary cultural community.The emotional connection between Mongols and its surrounding people,creating a strong national identity based on shared culture.
