In today's society,the urgent demand for "high-quality workers" and "high skilled professionals" puts forward higher requirements for secondary vocational education.Tourism English is a compulsory course for tourism management major.The corresponding research on Secondary Vocational Tourism English classroom can find and summarize classroom problems,and help teachers improve the quality of classroom,At the same time,it is beneficial for students to improve the quality of learning.Teacher student interaction has always been a hot topic in classroom research.It is of great significance for Secondary Vocational Tourism English teachers to attach importance to teacher-student interaction in order to stimulate students' interest and enthusiasm in learning tourism English.With the help of i FIAS(improved Flanders interactive analysis system),this paper makes a quantitative analysis of the teacher-student interaction of four tourism English classes in Nanjing J secondary vocational and technical school,and summarizes the research status of teacher-student interaction in Secondary Vocational Tourism English class,so as to provide reference for Secondary Vocational Tourism English teachers to improve classroom teaching.The first chapter introduces the reasons for the topic selection from the aspects of the reform of tourism English classroom teaching in secondary vocational schools,the urgent need to improve the status quo of teacher-student interaction in Secondary Vocational Tourism English classroom.It also clarifies the purpose and problems of this study,analyzes the research content,and points out the significance and innovation of this study.In this study,classroom observation,content analysis and interview are selected as the research methods.Finally,the technical path map is drawn to clarify the research ideas.The second chapter defines the concept of teacher-student interaction,i FIAS and Secondary Vocational Tourism English,and introduces constructivism theory,humanism theory and social interaction theory as the theoretical basis,and analyzes the research status of teacher-student interaction types,models,strategies and influencing factors at home and abroad,as well as the application of i FIAS in the analysis of teacher-student interaction.The third chapter constructs the classroom coding of Secondary Vocational Tourism English,sets the coding in combination with the actual situation of tourism English classroom,introduces the coding recording rules and application support tools,and finally tests the reliability of the coding to ensure the consistency and objectivity of the quantitative results.The fourth chapter analyzes the selection of the recorded four course samples,transcribes and codes the four classroom contents,analyzes the ratio and matrix according to the matrix diagram,and understands the details of classroom teacher-student interaction according to the interview records.The fifth chapter analyzes the problems existing in the interaction between teachers and students in Tourism English class of secondary vocational schools,which are as follows: the phenomenon of students' silence is serious in Tourism English class;Teachers' questioning skills are insufficient and students' waiting time is too short;The teacher's evaluation language is simple and the guiding ability is not enough;The mode of teacher-student interaction is single,and students lack initiative.The sixth chapter puts forward the following four suggestions for improvement from the perspective of teachers: to analyze the characteristics of secondary vocational students,and increase the skills of tourism English classroom questioning;Processing tourism English teaching materials and introducing new content to increase classroom interest;Extend students' thinking time and make multiple evaluation on students;We should give full play to the role of multimedia technology in the classroom interaction between teachers and students,and improve the level of teachers' application of modern educational technology.From the perspective of students,there are three suggestions for improvement: improve interest,participate in classroom interaction;Clear goals,enhance self-discipline awareness;Be good at thinking and dare to ask questions.The seventh chapter analyzes the summary of this study,analyzes the shortcomings of the research,and puts forward the research prospects.
