| From the perspective of graphic design,this paper focuses on knowledge visualization design in science popularization.With regard to the issue of how to promote the effective popularization of scientific knowledge,it systematically analyzes the development,design elements,design process and design strategies of scientific knowledge visualization graphic design by combining the relevant theoretical achievements in design,communication and education.By comparing design cases of various periods and types,the development process of visual graphic design for the popularization of scientific knowledge is sorted out,and on the one hand,it shows the diversified appearance due to the technological progress and change of times.On the other hand,two common features of the excellent design cases are reflected.First,the pursuit of scientificity and rigor in the design of scientific knowledge visualization.Second,awareness of the importance of public understanding of scientific knowledge.Based on these two characteristics,combined with the exploration of the designer's role in the popularization of scientific knowledge,three bases of graphic design for the visualization of scientific knowledge popularization are proposed and analyzed:accurate understanding of scientific knowledge materials;full grasp of public cognitive characteristics;and clear construction of scientific knowledge framework.On this basis,the design process and design methods of visual transformation of scientific knowledge are systematically analyzed from three aspects: visual structure design,content design and form design.It is further concluded that the key to the graphic design of knowledge visualization in the popularization of science lies in: on the premise of ensuring the rigor of scientific knowledge,the visual transformation of scientific knowledge is carried out in a way that can easily stimulate the public's interest in learning and promote public understanding and memory. |
