In recent years, with the promotion of the rural revitalization strategy and the advancement of the basic public service equalization strategy, higher standards have been put forward for the development of rural public service facilities. At this stage, the supply level of public service facilities in China is low,the gap between regions and between urban and rural areas is large, and the contradiction between supply and demand is more prominent. As the key areas of urbanization, rural areas have a greater degree of change in residents' demand and more diversification, especially in developed countries. In the rural areas of the region, the inequality of public service supply between urban and rural areas is more obvious, and the contradiction between the increasing public service demand of villagers and the insufficient public service supply capacity is more acute. At present, there is still a blank in research on the optimization of rural public service facilities in developed areas, and relevant research is urgently needed. This paper seeks to optimize and improve the configuration of public service facilities in urban fringe areas in economically developed areas.Mashan Street,Binhu District,Wuxi City,is located in the economically developed Yangtze River Delta city fringe area. This article is the research object of Mashan Street,it follows the logic of research basis-current distribution-satisfaction survey-cavity analysis-accessibility analysis-asking questions-optimizing and promotion.Specifically, this article first conducts relavant basic theoretical research, and summarizes representative typical villages in the construction of public service facilities in the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta;by obtaining public service facilities POI points and field investigation, learn about the current situation and distribution of public service facilities in Mashan street,to investigate the villagers' satisfaction with public service facilities,to calculate the accessibility of public service facilities based on road network data, and to compare the accessibility with national standards and villagers' expected time.On this basis,it is obtained from the problem of Mashan Street rural public service facilities, and its public service facilities will be proposed to improve the improvement strategy.First, the economic level of rural villages in developed areas is relatively good, the types of public service facilities are relatively complete, and the modes of travel are more diversified, villagers have a higher demand for public service facilities.Second, the public service facilities of Mashan Street present a spatial distribution pattern of small agglomeration and scattered communities in the town area, the northern area has a small number,low-level and scattered distribution, and the southern area has more numbers than the northern area, with more complete types and higher levels.Commercial facilities and educational facilities are concentrated near the southern township.Fourth, only considering the time distance,by changing the means of transportation, commercial facilities, cultural facilities and social security facilities basically meet the urban standards, while educational facilities and medical facilities are still far from the urban standards;the accessibility of commercial facilities, cultural facilities and social security facilities meets the villagers' expectations, while educational facilities and medical facilities are quite different from the villagers' psychological expectations, don't meet the villager's expectations.
