The use of lines to weaken the ink and strengthen the color of the block,which is the language characteristics of boneless painting.It is an exploration and a breakthrough in painting language in Chinese classical painting,and it has become an important part of Chinese painting system.Yun Shouping,after Xu Chong-si,Liu Chang,Sun Long,Shen Zhou,Hui Yun-ping,Ju-hui,and other painters,not the original form of bone-yun,slowly mature and prevalent development.In this paper,the expression and development of boneless technique in flower and bird paintings are studied.First,the origin of boneless technique and the history of boneless flower and bird paintings are sorted out.From the perspective of techniques,the artistic features and representative painters of boneless flower and bird paintings in the Song,Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties are briefly summarized.Then it summarizes the techniques in five kinds of flower and bird paintings,from book records to painter's works,and analyzes the performance characteristics and application of each technique.Then focus on the contemporary,Chinese and Western cultural exchanges and integration,understand the current development situation of boneless painting,looking for the future direction of boneless painting.Finally,through my works,from the selection of materials and techniques expression of these two aspects,elaborated my practice of flowers and birds without bone techniques.
