An Exploration Of The Language Of Geometric Forms In Chinese Painting

Geometric formal language has existed since the birth of painting art,but this kind of name is produced by later generations when they study the techniques formed by the integration of geometry and painting.With the development of painting techniques and the enrichment of picture forms,geometric painting forms are developing towards a more realistic and more concrete direction.The reflection of realism in modern painting makes the formal beauty of geometry be valued,and even gives birth to the charm of art origin.Geometric formal language is not only a kind of composition technique,but also a kind of modeling technique,a way of painting thinking and observation.It is the painter's traceable thinking on the essence of modeling,and also reveals the creator's pursuit of rational spirit.Geometric painting language has the characteristics of generality,planarization,sense of order,and geometric image has a unique visual tension which is impressive.Through the analysis and research of Chinese and Western paintings with geometric form characteristics and elements,this paper discusses the artistic characteristics and aesthetic significance of geometric form language,aiming to provide ideas and possibilities for the contemporary development of Chinese painting,and clarify the author's creative ideas and methods of Chinese painting.
